Whale Watching Tour
A full day trip to the holiday town of Hermanus for a boat trip to watch the whales in the safety of a motorboat.
Itinerary
- Leave 06h00 from your hotel or guesthouse.
- Drive to Hermanus via Betty’s Bay
- Stop at Harold Porter Botanical Gardens for a gentle walk to the fantastic waterfall at Disa Kloof and return to the Kiosk for a full English breakfast in superb surroundings.
- At Hermanus we will board a wonderful boat The Miroshca operated by Southern Right Charters which is complete with all amenities
- There follows a two hour plus boat trip to see the Southern Right Whales in Walker Bay - an area which so famous for these whales.
- On our return we will have lunch at the Harbour Café renowned locally as one of the best seafood restaurants in South Africa.
- After lunch we will drive back via the Hemel en Aarde (Heaven and Earth) route and stop off at Newton Johnson Vineyards for a wine tasting.
- We then drive back via little traveled gravel roads past typical South African farms
- Our route home will take us down the famous Sir Lowry’s Pass.
