Garden Route Tour - One Week
This one week circular tour starts in Cape Town.
- We drive through the Little Karoo and several towns famous for their wines where we will have time for some wine tasting.
- We stay one night at Prince Albert
- We drive the world famous Swartberg Pass on the way to Kamkaskloof known as Die Hell which is only approachable by 4x4s and stay overnight in one of the historic original houses in the valley
- On day four we will visit the Meiringspoort - a wild ravine; explore the incredible Cango caves (one of the natural wonders of the world); visit an ostrich farm, a crocodile farm and a cheetah-breeding farm, staying overnight in Oudtshoorn.
- On day five we drive to Knynsa for one night exploring the town, the Heads and Leisure Island. Then we will drive the lakes, the Wilderness area, and the Seven Passes.
- On our way home we will explore the remainder of the Garden Route, touring through the Wilderness National Park.
- We will stay for our last night at Hermanus traveling down the scenic coastal road to Cape Town.
