Atlantis Dunes - Fun in the Sand
This area is a truly forgotten gem on the West Coast.
Upon entering the area, you are immediately surrounded by sand dunes, with Table Mountain serving as a backdrop. A truly worthwhile sight that will be remembered for a long time. Venturing further into the dunes, you will experience the solitude of being in a desert, far away from civilization.
Atlantis Dunes is a water catchment area and is therefore sensitive to possible pollution. It is a well maintained eco area.
You will find driving dunes is a great 4x4 experience in our comfortable Land Rover Discovery and lots of fun.
Plenty of photo opportunities including a stop at Blouberg Beach on the way back to Cape Town for that special shot of Cape Town.
- We will drive to the dunes either early morning or in the afternoon
- We have to lower the pressure in our tyres

- Watch the sun rise or set while partaking of light refreshment.
- If you feel up to it try driving the Land Rover on a mild slope

This rate includes vehicle, a luxury Land Rover (maximum of 4 persons), entrance to Atlantis Dunes, light refreshments and driver-guide.
Because of the heat and the glare of the sun at mid morning this tour will only take place starting at 06h00 in Cape Town. To arrive at the dunes at opening time. Afternoon tours should be avoided all together.
