Winelands Tour
This tour starts at your pick-up points.
- First we finish Seidleberg Vineyard for a tasting and to watch the glass blowers producing wonderful glass objects, which you may purchase.
- From there we travel past farms and vineyards to Waterford Vineyards tasting wine and Belgium Chocolate
- Following a trip through stunning Stellenbosch starting with a visit to the Stellenbosch Village Museum featuring the oldest existing house in South Africa I Schreuderhuis (c. 1709) plus Blettermanhuis (c. 1789) Grosvenor House (c. 1803) and The Home of O M Bergh (c.1850)
- Drive through the famous Helshoogte Pass stopping at either Tokara or Thelema vineyards
- Drive past the little village of Pniel
- The fine drive to Franschhoek past white picket fenced stud farms and wonderful waterfalls with a visit to a vineyard in Franchhoek.
- Lunch will be taken at Dieu Donnie, which has marvelous views from the mountains across Franschhoek
- After a very satisfying lunch, we will drive up the Francshhoek Pass 800 meters above the village past the Hugonot memorial and museum
- We descend down to the Theewaters Dam. After crossing the modern bridge we turn left onto the gravel roads over the Van der Stel Pass onto Bot River
- From Bot River we drive past coastal towns along one of finest coastal drives to Gordons Bay.
- We will drop you off at your hotel at approximately 19h00 hours
Visits to one of the many vineyards can be changed if you wish to combine cheese tasting or brandy tasting.
Price
R2 900 for 2 to 3 persons including luxury 4x4 vehicle, driver-guide and all entrance fees. Lunch is excluded.
