Cape Town Day Tour
A one day walking & driving tour of Cape Town commencing with a visit to the Cape of Good Hope Castle (built in the 1600s) in time for the Changing of the Guard.
Then to the Slave Lodge including a 20 min audio-visual relating slavery in the Cape.
A short walk from the Lodge are the Government Gardens, planted originally to supply ships going to the Spice Islands with fresh vegetables and fruit. We can have tea or coffee in the gardens and feed the tame squirrels
At the end of the Government gardens we will visit the iziko South African Muesum. A very informative visit to the Gold Museum follows including a tour of the museum and the lion walking tour conducted by the Gold Museum
Next, we will visit Bo-Kaap the very colorful residential area of Cape Town where mostly Muslims live, including a visit to the oldest Mosque in Cape Town.
Finally we visit Jewel Africa for a conducted tour of the diamond jewelry manufacturing workshop and the chance to purchase hand made jewelry, gemstones and other interesting items.
If the weather is good we will take a cable ride up Table Mountain.
Between 6 pm and 8 pm an optional night tour of the Gold Museum can be arranged followed by a genuine African meal accompanied by African dancers in the Museum itself - (this part of the tour is optional)

Price
R850 per person (based on a minimum party of two).
Includes all entrances fees, transport in luxury Landrover and guide. If the weather is inclement a refund on your Table Mountain Cable Car will be given or else an alternate day can be arranged. The price excludes refreshments and meals.
