Cape Peninsula Round Trip Tour
Our standard tour of the Cape Peninsula taking in fascinating history, animals, and spectacular scenery.
Intinerary includes:
- A ride up Table Mountain in the cable car including a drive along Tafelberg Road pointing out places of interest on the mountain
- Scenic drive over Kloof Nek and along the sea cliffs of Victoria Road with a stop at Maidens Cove for a beautiful photo opportunity of the Twelve Apostles and Camps Bay Beach
- Stop at Llandudno for a second photo opportunity of the spectacular beach and houses and then visit the fishing town of Hout Bay formerly known as Chapmans Chance
- We then have a choice of a 45 min boat ride to Duiker Island to see the penguin colony. Or a visit to The World of Birds (optional)
- We will pass The Workshop (the smallest pub in South Africa) and the original Fisherman’s Church where we can stop if requested. We then drive over Chapman’s Peak with wonderful views over Hout bay and The Sentinel. This is one of the world’s most spectacular marine drives
- Driving past Kommetjie (a small seaside village well known for it's beaches and surf waves) we can stop for refreshments at the British Bulldog, or visit Far Out kites and purchase one of their fantastic kites. http://www.faroutkitres.co.za
- Visit Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and the Cape Point Light House with lunch at The Two Oceans Restaurant (optional)
- Drive to Maclears Beach via Neptune’s Bay and Pappies Bank, visit Diaz and De Gama Monuments and we drive past Millers Point and Smitswinkel Bay
- We visit Boulders beach and the renowned penguin colony
- Drive home via Simons Town, Fish Hoek and Muizenberg and if time allows and it is dark, we will drive you up Signal Hill for a mind-blowing view of Cape Town’s lights including Green Point Stadium.
Depending upon the activities we may not be able to fit in all of the above but may change the itinerary in accordance with your needs.
Price
R2300 per day.
This rate includes vehicle, a luxury Land Rover (maximum of 4 people) or bigger vehicle, driver-guide. But excludes refreshments, lunches and entrance fees.
