Terms and Conditions
Reservations & Payment
- 50% deposit of quoted rate on confirmation of your reservation.
- Balance payable within 14 days prior to tour.
- A contract between Chelsea Morning and the guest will only be deemed to be concluded once a deposit has been paid to secure the reservation and the guest has received receipted notification from Chelsea Morning.
- Two methods of payment:
Cash (Rand, US$, € or £) or
Direct bank transfer (free of any costs or commissions and foreign exchange rates to be confirmed and finalised on confirmation of booking) into our bank account:

Tours & Itineraries
- Prices, routes, places of interest, restaurants, and other service providers are subject to change without prior notice.
- All itineraries, accommodation and transport remain flexible due to changes in local conditions and/or unpredictable circumstances beyond our control so that tours and routes could be altered accordingly to comply with circumstances. We would wherever possible keep our guests informed well in advance should any such changes take place.
Cancellations
- To be in writing via fax or email and acknowledged by our office and a cancellation charge of at least 30% would apply.
- If you fail to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion for whatever reason, no re-imbursement would be considered.
- Should you cancel your tour 14 days or less prior to departure, additional cancellation charges may be applicable.
Insurance
- Guests are advised to acquire their own travel, luggage and cancellation insurance when confirming a reservation.
- Personal comprehensive travel insurance covering curtailment, medical emergency travel and personal accident is also recommended and considered compulsory.
- Extreme or adventure tourism activities are undertaken at your own risk and guests are advised to check that their travel insurance covers these activities as Chelsea Morning cannot be held responsible for any loss, injury, death or damage caused by any activity whatsoever.
Liability – all tours, trails, adventure activities and charters are undertaken subject to the Standard Terms and Conditions of Chelsea Morning Discovery 4x4 Tours. The owner, employees or agents shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from any liability in respect of any loss or death, damage, injury, accident, delays or inconvenience to any person or their luggage or other personal property whether the same shall occur and whether the same shall arise from or be occasioned by the negligence of Chelsea Morning, their employees or agents or other persons directly or indirectly in the employ or service of Chelsea Morning or otherwise under any circumstances whatsoever.
Claims – any claims arising shall be subject to South African Law and within the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African Court of Law.
Passports & Visas – guests are to make their own arrangements in this regard, unless otherwise notified.
Tour Times – departures and arrival times are approximate.
Exclusions & Inclusions
- Any additional entrance fees or activities not forming part of our agreed tour itinerary are excluded unless otherwise notified.
- All meals, drinks, refreshments and items of a personal nature are excluded unless otherwise notified.
